We are seeking an experienced hands-on system lead engineer for the display systems team. This team is responsible for architecting advanced mobile display signal processing hardware for our chipsets. The successful candidate will lead the systems architecture and algorithms design for the display processor. He / She will also work closely with the hardware design team to optimize and verify the functionality and performance of the processor.

Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities may include the following:

  • Delivering System C and software models of the display processor required for Performance validation and power estimation.
  • Explore new algorithms, develop and deploy the same.
  • Working with hardware verification teams to verify the processor’s functionality and performance.
  • Architecting and optimizing the display signal processor for the specifics of each application / chip’s requirements.
  • Analyzing and optimizing the processor's performance (compute, data accesses, latency, power).

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong background in digital image & signal processing.
  • Solid understanding of embedded computer architecture – including ARM processors, image and video processing hardware, and memory organization.
  • Knowledge and experience hardware architecture definition and algorithms.
  • Strong programming skills and experience in writing SystemC models and C/C++ software, Matlab and perl scripting.

Educational Requirements:

Masters (MS/M.Tech) - Electrical & Computer Engineering and related.
